Residents are being advised to avoid the area where Casa Grande police are investigating a homicide, reported local media on Thursday.
Casa Grande police are investigating the shooting that took place on the 400 block of West 13th Street, according to the Casa Grande Police Department’s Twitter account.

Police said four people were shot and killed. One person “of interest” is in custody and there is no active shooter, according to police.
According to school district officials, Casa Grande Middle School and elementary school are on “complete lockdown.” Other schools in the district are on “restrictive movement.”
Casa Grande Union High School District said Casa Grande Union High School, Desert Winds Learning Center; and Vista Grande High School are all on lockdown.
Police tweeted Thursday morning saying the scene was near Pinal Avenue and McMurray Boulevard.
