China’s GDP growth rate accelerated last year for the first time since 2010, reaching 6.9%. This was reported in the Main Statistical Office of the People’s Republic of China.

The growth rate of the country’s economy amounted to 6.8% in the fourth quarter of 2017 in annual terms.

This indicator remained at the level of the third quarter, despite the fact that the consensus forecast of experts provided for the weakening of the economy’s growth to 6.7%.

Thus, following the results of 2017, the GDP growth of the PRC accelerated from 6.7% in 2016 to 6.9%.

The annual rate of economic growth in China was the highest since 2015.

Earlier it became known that Russia began supplying China with the S-400 “Triumph” anti-aircraft missile system under the contract of 2014. The first shelf kit has already been sent to the customer.
