US Federal Bureau of Investigation conducted a predawn raid of former Donald Trump presidential campaign chairman Paul Manafort’s home in Alexandria, Virginia, a spokesperson for Manafort confirmed Wednesday.
FBI agents, using a wide-ranging search warrant, raided Manafort’s home without advance warning in the predawn hours of July 26, the day after he met voluntarily with the U.S. Senate Intelligence Committee members, the Washington Post reported, quoting people familiar with special counsel Robert Mueller who is investigating ties between Trump’s campaign and Russia.
