FBI deputy director McCabe resigned

UNITED STATES – The deputy director of the FBI, Andrew McCabe, resigned.

As the American broadcaster NBC reported in her microblog, McCabe served as FBI director from May to August last year after President Trump decided to dismiss James Komi from the post of FBI director, indicating that he was not satisfied with his work.

The report said several sources familiar with the situation noted that McCabe was actively involved in the FBI investigation of alleged Russian interference in the US election campaign in 2016.

Earlier it was reported that the congressman called Trump to testify to the special prosecutor about the so-called Russian intervention.
