UNITED STATES (VOP TODAY NEWS) – Apple has updated its iPhone operating system (iOS) to give users a clearer view of how to get and use their data.

The update will enable users to see if an app is collecting information about them .

The update came ahead of the application of new data protection rules in the EU, so Apple plans to enable users to download the data stored by the company about them.

The last update does not change the amount of data that can be stored but privacy information will appear with the first-time use of an Apple application. By clicking on the application, the user will be able to see which data he or she is collecting.

Apple plans to launch some tools in May that will allow users to download all data stored by Apple, and temporarily cancel their account with Apple, which will block the data processing process, or finally, in which case all data is deleted.

According to the BBC, these updates will give users a greater degree of control over their data.

Apple is always proud to promote iPhone devices as focusing on privacy protection.
