The Argentine Navy conducted a test explosion with a capacity of 100 kg in TNT equivalent in the search zone for the missing San Juan submarine and found out that the explosion with the disappearance of the submarine was stronger, the Todo Noticias television channel reported.

It is noted that experts from the Argentine Ministry of Defense carried out an explosion of 100 kg of TNT at a depth of 40 m to compare the sound of this explosion with the one registered earlier in the area of the disappearance of the submarine.

According to the Organization for the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty, the selected point coincides with the location where a “powerful phenomenon, consistent with the explosion,” was recorded.

Earlier, experts identified two possible locations for the missing Argentine submarine “San Juan”.
