UNITED STATES (VOP TODAY NEWS) — The Information Office of the Government of Fujairah denied the validity of the media reports that spoke of strong explosions rocked the UAE port of Fujairah at dawn today.

The source confirmed that the labor movement in the port is conducted according to normal, calling on the media to investigate the accuracy and reliance on official sources.

The denial comes in response to media reports that the powerful explosions rocked Fujairah’s UAE port at dawn on Sunday, according to media reports that the fire caught more than seven oil tankers were anchored in the port of Fujairah.

Media said the nature of the explosions was not clear but was strong and consecutive, and occurred between 4 am and 7 am.
