Deir ez-Zor: unable to bribe tribes, US attacks on civilians

UNITED STATES, WASHINGTON (VOP TODAY NEWS) — Barely a few hours after the failure of its recent mission to bribe the Deir ez-Zor tribes, the US coalition bombards. US coalition fighter planes bombed a village in the southern suburb of Deir ez-Zor in eastern Syria.

According to the news agency Mehr News which refers to the newspaper Al-Ahed , several Syrian civilians were killed or wounded in the bombardment of a village in the southern suburbs of Deir ez-Zor by saying anti-Daesh coalition led by the United States.

More information on the exact toll of the victims of this new barbaric crime of the American coalition in Syria is still waiting.

The bombing took place just after the end of a US delegation led by coalition forces adviser William Roebuck in the village of al-Sour, 50 km northeast of Deir ez- Zor, a village that is under the control of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF, a US proxy and composed mostly of Kurds).

And this is not Mr. Roebuck’s first visit to this region. Earlier in June, the US Councilor, accompanied by Thamer al-Sabhan, Saudi Arabian Minister of State for Persian Gulf Affairs, and Joel Robin US Under Secretary of State, were at the US base located near the oil field of Al -Omar, east of Deir ez-Zor. But like many other Syrian regions, the local population in the province of Deir ez-Zor has, more than once, expressed through demonstrations its refusal for the presence of US forces and their deputies.

Reliable sources have recently suggested that the SDF has commissioned an Israeli businessman to sell oil from eastern Syria.

However, tribes living in eastern Syria no longer want occupying forces on their land. It is therefore through bombing, bloodshed and material damage that the American coalition, under cover of so-called anti-terrorist operations, is taking revenge on the tribes and local inhabitants of the province of Deir ez-Zor, because of their refusal for the military presence of the Americans and their deputies. That being said, the Americans’ chances of being able to create a separatist semi-state, with Saud money, in eastern Syria are slim.
