Dead and wounded in bombing east of the Iraqi capital Baghdad

IRAQ (VOP TODAY NEWS) — Our correspondent reported the fall of eight people dead and wounded, as a result of an explosion rocked east of the Iraqi capital Baghdad on Thursday evening.

For its part, the Baghdad Operations Command, in a statement, that a number of people were killed and wounded by a suicide bombing in the area, “Jamila” of Sadr City, east of the capital.

According to a security source, two people were killed and at least six others injured as a preliminary result of the explosion, indicating that the proceeds can rise.

Local sources said that a suicide bomber blew himself up near a market in Sadr City, east of Baghdad.
