RUSSIA – The terrorist organization Daesh claimed responsibility for the attack on Sunday in the Kizlyar town of Dagestan, where five women have died and injured, Reuters reports.
Without providing any details, the terrorist organization Daesh took responsibility for the deadly attack that occurred on February 18 near a church in the city of Kizlyar, Dagestan, according to Reuters.
A man opened fire this Sunday on the faithful coming out of a church in the southern Russian city of Kizlyar, killing five people and injuring four others.
The assailant, Khalil Khalilov, aged 22, was shot dead by police.
The attack occurred during a carnival on the occasion of the Maslenitsa festival which precedes the entry into the Lent period.
