China put two satellites into orbit for Saudi Arabia

CHINA (VOP TODAY NEWS) — China successfully put two satellites into orbit for Saudi Arabia SaudiSat 5A and SauditSat 5B, said the Chinese Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC).

The launch was carried out at 12.12 local time from the Jiuquan cosmodrome in Gansu province with the help of the Changzheng-2D launch vehicle.

Together with two large satellites, another 10 small satellites were also launched into a given orbit.

It is noted that this project will help further strengthen the cooperation of Saudi Arabia and China in the field of space exploration.
