The Chinese authorities have banned the export of metals, industrial equipment and vehicles for the transportation of goods to the DPRK.
Since December 23, 2017, Beijing has also restricted the sale of oil to Pyongyang: China can not export more than 4 million barrels or 525,000 tons of this energy a year.
Sanctions will come into force on January 6 in accordance with the UN Security Council Resolution No. 2397.
According to the official representative of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Geng Shuang, the authorities will monitor compliance with international sanctions against the DPRK.
