UNITED STATES (VOP TODAY NEWS) — Six people were injured on Saturday in a car bomb exploded with a suicide bomber in the Syrian city of Manbij, according to Hawar agency.
According to the agency, the explosion was carried out by a suicide bomber driving a car. The attack occurred in the south-east of the city near the livestock market.
“Six people suffered as a result of the attack, they were hospitalized in the city’s hospitals,” the agency said. It is noted that the state of one of the wounded is critical.
Earlier, Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan said that Ankara is ready to launch an operation in the east of the Euphrates, as well as in Manbidge against the Syrian Kurdish self-defense forces, if the United States does not withdraw them from there. He later said that he had decided to postpone the start of the military operation in Syria after a telephone conversation with Donald Trump on December 14 last year, at the end of which the American president decided to withdraw troops from the UAR.
US President Donald Trump said earlier that in Syria it is necessary to create a buffer zone about 30 kilometers wide in the territory adjacent to the border with Turkey. Erdogan agreed with this idea, provided that the zone would be controlled by Turkey with the support of the allies.
