Car bomb blasts in Kiev, left at least one dead

Car bomb in Kiev kills one, according to reports. The explosion took place about 100 meters from Kreshatyk, the main shopping street.

A man was killed in a car explosion in central Kiev, capital city of Ukraine, the State Emergency Service said on Friday.

The explosion occurred at around 6:21 p.m. local time (GMT 1521), also injuring a woman and a child, according to local media reports.
