Many thousands of demonstrations are going on in South Korea in protest against the threats of the US about a possible military solution to the problem of the Korean peninsula and with a call for peace.

Demonstrations are held on the eve of a visit to South Korea by US President Donald Trump as part of his Asian tour.

As reported, the main topic of the discussions of the US president in the course of visits to Japan, South Korea, China, Vietnam and the Philippines will be the settlement of the problem of the Korean peninsula with an emphasis on countering nuclear missile threats of the DPRK.
