UNITED STATES (VOP TODAY NEWS) — A Boeing 737, carrying 143 people, failed to land at the Jacksonville Naval Base in Florida, in the southeast of the United States, and ended up in a river without serious injuries, the military said.

The plane was flown from the US base of Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, carrying 136 passengers (al-Qaeda employees and members of their families) and seven crew members, and ended up on a shallow river at the Jacksonville military base. He took all the passengers out of the plane.

Sheriff Jacksonville’s office said 21 people were taken to local hospitals for minor injuries while others were treated.

Television footage showed the plane was partially covered by water without any obvious damage.
