Ankara in writing informs Damascus about the progress of the operation in Syrian Afri, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu said on Saturday.

The Turkish General Staff announced on Saturday the beginning of the operation “Olive Branch” against the formation of Kurds in Syrian Africa. The operation began at 14.00.

“We inform the Syrian regime in writing about the operation, as well as all parties, including the UN,” NTV television channel quotes Cavusoglu.
