More than 70 Turkish military aircraft that struck the targets of Kurdish armed units in Syrian Afrin returned to their bases after the successful completion of the mission, the Turkish General Staff reported on Saturday.

Earlier on Saturday, the General Staff of Turkey announced the beginning of the operation “Olive Branch” against the formation of Kurds in Syrian Afrin. The operation began at 17.00.

“The attacks on terrorist targets were carried out in seven districts of Afrin, where 108 targets were hit.” The 72 air forces of Turkey, participating in the operation, returned safely to their bases,” the report said.
