4 children killed, more than 10 injured in random shelling in Yemen

Four Yemeni children were killed and more than ten others injured on Friday as houses of civilians in the southwestern province of Taiz shelled by Houthi rebels, a medical official said.

Tanks and armored vehicles belonging to the Houthis bombed houses of civilians in Taiz province, causing casualties and serious damage, the local military official said.

“Four children were killed as result of the shelling that targeted the residential neighborhood and more than ten others were injured,” he said urging humanitarian organizations to provide support in treating the injured people.
