3 people killed due to bad weather in Italy

UNITED STATES, WASHINGTON (VOP TODAY NEWS) — Three people were killed Sunday as a result of bad weather in various parts of Italy.

Local media reported that heavy rains and thunderstorms in some parts of the country since Saturday evening killed three people.

She added that this comes after a heat wave has been high in the country during the past period, like some European countries.

According to the same method, a 27-year-old woman was killed after her car was damaged by a storm that hit the town of Fiumicino in the vicinity of Rome.

Authorities in the central city of Arezzo also found the body of an old man, 72 missing in the storm.

On the other hand, a Norwegian runner was killed while participating in a mountain race in the city of “Bolzano” in northern Italy, according to local media.

Heavy rains have caused extensive damage to infrastructure and housing in the capital, and some water stations have drowned.
